Who can participate?
Anyone who wants to make a contribution of any size can do so
through donations made at their local bottle depot. Remember, if
every home donates just one container, we can reach our goal!
Where can I donate?
Alberta Cans for Kids donations, containers or cash, can be made
directly to your local bottle depot. If you wish to donate directly
to our campaign partner you may do so but contributions will not be
included with this campaign. To find a depot near you please visit:
The Beverage
Container Management Board (BCMB)
What can I donate?
Although the program is called 'Cans' for Kids, we gratefully
accept donations of any beverage containers toward the program.
Money can also be contributed by dropping it in the receptacle at
the cash register.
I don't have many containers, will it make a difference?
Remember, our goal is one container from each home in Alberta.
If your contribution is only one container then you have done your
part. Anything more than that is of tremendous benefit to the
campaign partner! The Alberta Cans for Kids campaign is designed
exactly for those who cannot by themselves make a significant
contribution; together we CAN make a difference!
How do I know my donation will make it to the campaign partner?
Check in with your local depot and ask how much has been raised
toward our goal or check out the partner website for the most
current total of your contributions.
